I was so sad to hear of the passing of George. I have very good memories of being part of the Tuc el Nuit School staff and George being a large part of that. He always was a friendly, warm and caring person. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Dear Marg and family – George had such presence: he was an individual with an infectious smile, a hearty laugh, a twinkle in his eye and yet on a more serious note, was an excellent teacher, a focused listener, a compassionate colleague and a fighter who stood up for what he believed in. He will be missed for all of that and much, much more. Jack and Heather Frank

Relation: Brother

Dear Marg and Family,
George did not live an ordinary or boring life. He lived with passion. No matter what he was doing, he did it with great gusto and enthusiasm, and gave it his utmost. He had an astounding thirst for life, for learning and for experiencing life to the fullest. He had a remarkable impact on an amazing number of people thoughout his life. We will miss him so much! He may have been a brother, but he was mostly a great friend, and we shall view the past with love and appreciation for who and what he was.
Much Love,
Bev and Lyle

Marg/Keri/Kali/Marshall/Ethan
Pam and I always thought George was special – of course we were biased because he was our brother. However, reading these many tributes truly confirms our feelings. Marg/Keri/Kali/Marshall/Ethan
as you grieve I am sure your pain is eased by knowing how much he contributed to each of your lives and to the lives of many others. We will always remember his impish laugh, the twinkle in his eyes, his sense of humour, his passion for everything in his life. We will miss him dearly – we will miss the hockey tournaments – we will miss our political discussions – we will miss his love and commitment to his family but we will always be honoured to have had him as a brother and a very dear friend.
