Gerhart Garry Scheer

Tribute
Garry died suddenly, but peacefully in the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 57 years.
He was predeceased by his father and his wife Valerie.
Garry will be fondly remembered by his loving family including mother Eva Fry; brother Wilf Scheer and Sandra; sister Susan Fernandes and Tom; nephews Cory, Chris, Devon and Justin, Kitty too Shitty as well as many friends.
Garry loved music and dancing, especially to the oldies. You would always see him in his garden, with his music blaring as he sang along. He loved watching Sci-fi, with Star Trek being his favorite and knowing all the words in each episode.
Another favorite pastime was cooking and he was very good at it, Friday night hot dogs were enjoyed by many.
Garry was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, plant your garden, wire your house or fix a vehicle. He was a very talented man, from computer programmer, electrician, truck driver, the list goes on.
He will be very sadly missed by all of his family and very many friends.
Raise a glass and smile to a very special man that so many of us loved.
A private family memorial will be held.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the Doctor and nurses in ICU at the Penticton Regional Hospital.

He is amongst a garden full of the flowers he loved so much with his tunes just filling he air and enjoying every minute of the peace there. Those who have gone before him will be there to greet him and welcome him. Remember the years you had with him with love and good memories and know he will always be with you.

John and I were so sad to hear of Gary’s passing. He was an amazing man always ready to help out. We will miss his smile and friendship. We send out deepest sympathy to his family. Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that are happy.

I spent a few mnths with him . Watched him get very sad , then happy . It was hard to watch such a nice man fall . He saved me from the cold streets and there was nothing I could do for him . I just know that he is where he wanted to be . I believe . Thanks Garry for my life today .
