On Sunday January 4, 2015, Mrs. Gisela Erna McEwen of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 89 years. She will be be dearly missed by her friends and family.

“Irna” was a lovely lady who I first met when I was the Office Manager at the Elks Golden Villa. She tried very hard to cope with the difficulties age brings along, even while at Mariposa. May she now rest in peace.
