Tribute
On Sunday September 8, 2013, Mr. Hans Gerd Fischer of Osoyoos passed way surrounded by family after a long illness at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 75 years.
He was predeceased by his brother Karl Heinz.
Hans will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Nina; children Peter, Susanne, Corinna, Diana, and Sascha as well as seven grandchildren and his brother Kurt.
Hans was self-employed in the steel industry while working in Germany. He then immigrated to British Columbia and pursued grape growing until his retirement in 2003.
He enjoyed skiing, fishing, hunting and gardening.
A time of remembrance and visitation will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday September 12, 2013 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock, Street, Oliver. A celebration of life gathering will be announced in late October.

Very sorry to hear of Hans’s passing…. we had many very happy times skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and “ice wine” tasting, Hans was a great guy and will be missed.
