Tribute
On Saturday June 4, 2016, Mr. Harry John Dick of Osoyoos passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a lengthy illness at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 82 years.
He was predeceased by his brother Edgar.
Harry will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Irma; son Curtis (Michele); daughter Carla; four grandchildren Megan (Drew), Trevor (Kayla), Connor and Cody (Megan); three great-grandchildren Noah, Jaxton and Carter; sisters Irma and Karen; sister-in-law Hilda; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and last but not least his faithful dog Chance.
His career with BC Sugar Refinery spanned 40 years.
Harry and Irma were married on August 2, 1958 and celebrated their 50th golden wedding anniversary on August 2, 2008.
He enjoyed crosswords as well as many outdoor activities including fishing, biking, walks and gardening. Harry and Irma also enjoyed spending winters going south.

A visitation will be held at 7:00 pm Friday June 10th, 2016 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver.
Harry will be laid to rest at 11:00 am Saturday June 11, 2016 at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A memorial service will follow and will be officiated by Pastor Richard Andres at the Osoyoos Baptist Church at 1:00 pm Saturday June 11, 2016 followed by a reception in the church hall.
