Sadly on Wednesday March 3rd, Mr. Harvey “Harry” Besler of Oliver passed away from heart conditions at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 80 years.
He was predeceased by his father, mother, his sisters Kay & Gertrude, brothers Norman & Raymond and son Randy.
Harry will be fondly remembered by his son Rick Besler; sisters Darlene Willis, Lenora Mohns, Heartha (Norman) Toszak and many nieces and nephews.
Harry was born June 12, 1929 in St. Boswell, SK. He worked at the Oliver Sawmill and after the Oliver sawmill closed, Harry moved to Merritt to finish his career working in a sawmill. He returned to Oliver upon retirement to be closer to his son Rick and other family members and friends.
