Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey James Devine on April 29, 2018. Harvey was born in Lemberg Saskatchewan on December 31, 1934 to Joseph and Annie Devine and grew up on the family farm with siblings Lawrence, Lloyd, Joyce and Luella.
He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1956 where he met Alice Campbell whom he married on April 4th, 1958. The arrival of their first born occurred just prior to being posted overseas. While posted in London England, Harvey had the privilege of raising the then new Canadian flag for the first time at Canada House. After working and seeing the sights of Europe, they returned to Canada and continued to grow the family.
After a full Air Force career, he continued to work in the supply management field which not only had him work in western Canada but also in Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Libya before retiring in Oliver BC. In retirement, golfing, gardening, grandchildren, camping, travel, family visits and community service occupied his time.
Harvey is survived by Alice, his Loving wife of 60 years, his daughters Kimberley (Mitchell), Kelly (Andrew) and grandchildren Corrie, Jodi (Drew), Bradley (Paige), Sydney, Riley, and Michaela.

A private family graveside was held at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
