Tribute
On Friday, November 2, 2018, Mr. Henry (Hank) Alexander Turik of Oliver passed away at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years.
Hank will be fondly remembered by his friends and his loving family including but not limited to his two sons and their wives; six grandchildren; a brother and two sisters.
He spent the majority of his professional career working for Parks Canada. His job took him and his family from Whitehorse, Yukon to Ottawa, Ontario and many parts between.
Later in his life, Hank returned to the Catholic Church and found peace there. Hank was an outdoorsman, a record collector, music enthusiast and a fisherman.
At this time, Hanks family would like to thank everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. A private service will be held at a later date.

Relation: childhood friend
Today I learned of the passing of a childhood friend. I have many happy memories of Hank and I as we grew up together. Our fathers were partners owning and operating the Rex Hotel in Trail. As youngsters we spent time on the Arrow Lakes later playing basketball together at J. Lloyd Crowe. Hank and I were given the part time job of cleaning the Rex every morning before we went to school – Hank did the Ladies side and I did the Men’s side. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing but I shall remember with fondness the times we spent together. He shall be remembered as a friend. Condolences to his family.
