Inez (Diamond-Gleeson) beloved wife of Robert of Osoyoos, passed away on January 16, at the age of 72 years.

Inez is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Robert  (Bob); her sons Wayde Diamond (wife Janis) of Toronto, Greg Diamond of Osoyoos, Sister Verla Stewart (husband Roger) of Orillia, Ontario., Stepson Michael Gleeson of Calgary, Stepdaughter Barbara Gleeson of Calgary, Stepdaughter Jennifer Gleeson of Calgary, Alberta, granddaughter Samantha, granddaughter Zoe and grandson Gage,

Inez was born to the late Arnold Dobbs and Edna Dobbs (nee Osborne), and was raised on the family farm in Trout Creek, Ontario.

After working for 25 years for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where she held various positions that included Manager of Criminal Courts, she took an early retirement in 2000. Inez eventually fully retired in 2011 as Manager of Provincial Offences Court for the Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario. She was a member of the Association of Canadian Court Administrators and The Municipal Court Manager’s Association of Ontario (MCMA). She held many positions in the MCMA including Chair of the Justice Committee. An avid outdoors person, Inez was a graduate of the Canadian Power and Rescue Squadron.

While travelling with their RV to Nanaimo in 2013 for the winter, Inez and Bob made an overnight stop in Osoyoos, BC. After extending their stay in Osoyoos a few times, they just didn’t leave. They embraced the Okanagan lifestyle and they happily resided in Osoyoos since then.

Inez is a Sister in truth at the Osoyoos Kingdom Hall. She regularly attended services, studied the Bible with her Sisters weekly. When she became ill and unable to attend the Hall, she faithfully listened to the service via web service. Memorial Service to be convened at a later date.
