Tribute

On Friday December 19, 2014,  Jack Wilkeson Whitcomb of  Osoyoos passed away at Mariposa Gardens after a long illness with his wife by his side at the age of 80 years.

He was predeceased by his son Trent, a stillborn baby girl and nephews Kenny and Daryl.

Jack will be fondly remembered by his family including loving wife Sheila; son Steven, granddaughter Alexandra, brother Garry and sisters Evelynn, June and Joyce.

Jack was born on January 14, 1934 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan and worked pipeline for many years, was a grain buyer for UGG, a store owner/operator and security officer over the years.

He loved to read, being out in nature and he helped raise his granddaughter. Jack was known for his wonderful sense of humour, his strength, honesty and integrity.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Thanks for all the physical and emotional support we received during Jack’s long struggle.
