Tribute
On Thursday June 16, 2016, Jacqueline (Jacquie) Elizabeth Germaine Thibert of Osoyoos, BC passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 67 years.
She was predeceased by her father Albert Thibert and mother Joan Barbara Bellefontaine.
Jacquie will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband Robert Pepper of 30 years; daughter Sharon Whitmore (Robert); granddaughter Alica Reimer (Matthew); grandson Brendan Whitmore; brother Peter Thibert (Karolanne Bolton); sisters Louise Thibert, Suzanne Thibert (Deborah Waggoner) and Catherine Thibert; stepdaughters Lori Pepper and Sarah Miller (Darrell Miller); step-grandchildren Mackenzie Davidson and Jaxson Miller as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Over the years Jacquie worked at DBM Reflex in Montreal and Laval and for Farley Windows in Alexandria, Ontario.
She deeply enjoyed playing bridge and was member for the ACBL and director and member of the Osoyoos Bridge Club. Jacquie also became an ACBL Life Master.
A celebration of life was held at the Osoyoos Senior’s Centre at 7:30 pm Tuesday June 21st.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Canadian Cancer Society or
the Osoyoos Senior’s Centre.

Relation: Longtime friend of 31 years
I have known Jacqui through her husband Bob for more than 30 years. From Montreal, Eastern and Western Ontario and now Osoyoos, BC. She was a driving personality that had a motto of “keep up or get out of the way”!
Fantastic Bridge Player, phenomenal dog lover (as evidenced by the many over the years (remember Bear?)), a mother, doting grandmother and Super Daughter to Al and Joan.
Also very connected to her her brother Peter and sisters Suzanne, Louise and Cathy. She was very much part of life.
It is a shame she passed away so young, in the prime of her life, and typical Jacqui, she did NOT go quietly, but fought to the end.

Jacquie was my boss at DBM REFLEX for many years. We had such a great time, specially at Christmas time, she was crazy about Christmas. Recently we were giving news on Facebook Deepest sympathy to Bob and Sharon and all family from DBM Team. I will always remember her nice smile and kindness. Rest in Peace Dear Jacquie.
