A friend gone but the memories will live on.
Jim and I met shortly after I entered the Dept.it did not take
long for us to become great friends.
We had a lot of great times on and off the job.
We both relocated to B.C. after retirement and still stayed in touch.
He will be truly missed.

On behalf of the Edmonton FireFighters Memorial Society, Please accept our deepest condolences on Jim’s passing.
He will be truly missed!
Jim was well respected on the Fire Department for his leadership and how he cared for the people that he worked with.
I had work with Jim on few occasions and he had a great outlook on life and was fun to be with.
Please mark Tuesday. 2014 Sept 11th on your calendar, as that will be the day of our Annual Remembrance Ceremony.
It will be the day that we remember all those members that we have lost in the past year.
It is also a very special ceremony as we have those member’s family involved in the event itself.
It gives us all a chance to say goodbye and it helps with the closure as well.
If I could have a family member contact me at 780-451-8343 or at edr54@shaw.ca then I can get back to them at the end of July to send out invitations.
In closing, please accept our deepest condolences on your loss and know that Jim will be missed by many.
