My condolences to the family, especially Karen. My husband and I met the Pollard family in 1956 when we moved to Kelowna. Roy was manager of the Kelowna Packers Hockey Club. Orv played hockey and opened and Esso station – Roy having the Imperial Oil bulk plant.
Jimmy had the most wonderful smile. We attended both Karen and Jimmy’s weddings, Nancy’s funeral. Kept in touch with Karen til she moved to Castlegar.. The last time we saw Jim was dinner at Karen’s house.
So sorry for your loss. He was a special guy!!
