Tribute
On Saturday February 28, 2015, Mrs. Janet Ann Farmer of Oliver passed away at the McKinney Place Extended Care Unit at the age of 76 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 2014.
Janet will be fondly remembered by Fiona & Irv Wood and many friends at the stroke support group.
Janet enjoyed a long career as a draughtswoman in Norwich, England and Calgary, AB. She and her husband Michael were stationed with the British Royal Air Force for a time in the Philippines and Australia.
Janet loved to travel and enjoyed time in Hawaii, Tahiti and an Alaskan cruise. Prior to suffering strokes she also enjoyed knitting, sewing, tennis and bicycling.
Thank you to Drs. A & M de Vries, Dr. Juuma, the staff at McKinney Place for their care and to Dave and her neighbours who helped Janet over the years.
