Jaysone Tylor

September 26, 1938 - May 3, 2025

Tribute

Jaysone Tylor passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the age of 86 years.

Jaysone will be fondly remembered by is loving wife, Kaye; daughter, Cerensa-lee; sons, Justin and Andrew. He was 1 of five, with siblings Vanessa, Julian and Stuart surviving.

He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony; mother, Hilda Osmond and father, Joseph Pitkin

Jaysone dedicated his life to finding a higher spirit. His goal was to achieve inner peace and to find a connection with something that is beyond the physical world. In his early years, Jaysone spent time in India where he was introduced to a  Spiritual teacher named Osho and he began his spiritual journey. This was a strong theme in his life and he leaned on the powerful words of Osho to guide him. Jaysone was an avid traveler, starting at 16 years old, with many trips to the US, Australia, India and back to his birthplace of the United Kingdom. He spent his happiest times where it was warm and if there was a beach, you could catch him there “sun worshipping”. He was known for his witty humour, love for dancing and consistent positivity. He was incredibly social and would thrive on human interaction where he could discuss common spiritual views. He treated everyone with kindness and was always willing to provide a palm reading session or two. Cerensa-lee remembers being given lots of “pearls of wisdom”, advice on life or on how to get through difficult situations. Music, especially Classical and Irish, was felt very deeply by him and was used near the end of his life to calm him down or to make him smile.  With the progressive disease of dementia, Jaysone’s life was no longer his and his family now feel he has finally found the peace he was always looking for.
