Tribute
On Saturday May 9, 2026, Jean Reynolds of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 95.
Jean was predeceased by her father, mother, sister and husband, John.
Jean will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her loving family, including her children Jeanne, Karen (Darryl), and Robert (Jackie), her grandchildren Katie (Ryan) and Sean, and great-grandchildren Hunter and Annabelle.
Jean was born in Braehead, Scotland. She married her husband John on December 30, 1950. Jean, John and daughter emigrated to Canada in 1960. They lived in Richmond and were active in the Sons of Scotland.
Jean worked in the dietary kitchen at Marpole Hospital and then at Pearson Hospital until she retired in 1988 when she and John moved to Osoyoos. Jean enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo and Crib at the Senior’s center and often looking after her grandchildren in the summer.
Jean had a long and happy life and will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends.

I knew Jean for a very long time. I am not sure how we first met, maybe at Sunnybank or at the garden center that my husband and I owned. She invited me over once to see her gardens. It was always a joy to bump into Jean, she was such a nice person ❤️
