On Sunday, May 10, 2020, Mrs. Jenica Rosalie Ravlic of Oliver passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 77 years.
She will be fondly remembered by her loving family and friends.

Relation: best friend for 18 years
Jenica was a woman who lived a full life. She loved the arts , taking pictures,selling paintings in Vancouver art store, nature, horseback riding and taught skiing. She was also well travelled and met many people from various walks of life. She loved to talk to all people and always had a joke to tell you. She also suffered greatly with bone cancer and her pain was deep and lasted much longer than expected. I loved her as a person and a friend and I will never forget her and only wish to see her in the afterlife. Finally no more pain. Fly free, my friend.

I’m so sorry to hear of Jenika’s passing…I only knew her for a couple of years and know she suffered much…she was a good person and often stated she didn’t want to be alone..

My name is Beth Merks, I met Jenica as a patient in the late 90’s and she has always kept up with her. I was out to visit her and Nick a few years ago after i finished at a conference. We talked frequently and last year i could not get up with her and she had not called which was unusual, so I sent the police to check on her. Her message machine was full and she was pleased to see a nice young man at her door!. I started late May trying to contact her again as our birthdays had passed and we had not talked. Her number was disconnected and I could not get another, so I have other friends in that are and they were going to see if they could get word of her. I had checked obituaries in the area just in case as she was not always well and just saw this, this evening. I will miss her and our talks, we had talked about me going out in May and then COVID hit. My friend, Shirley will also miss her. If you could contact me and just give me an update I would really appreciate it. I did not have last names of any of her friends. You have my sincere condolences. Thank-you so much, Beth
