Tribute

On Friday February 5, 2010, Mrs. Jessie Lya Rempel of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital after a long illness at the age of 58 years.
She was predeceased by her father Ib Nielsen and her grandmother.
Jessie will be fondly remembered by her loving family including her daughter Juanita (Robert); her husband Helmut; her mother Anny; her brother Rene; her sister Manja and granddaughter Samantha.
Jessie loved animals and was deeply proud of the plaque she received from Citizens Animal Protection Society of Canada (CAPS) which she started and then retired the organization after five years. She also loved to visit Calgary and jigsaw puzzles. Jessie was also a proud member of the congregation of the Oliver Alliance Church.
A memorial celebration of life will be held between 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 18, 2010 at the Oliver Alliance Church with Pastor Henry Wiebe officiating. Urn interment & committal will be held at a later date in Calgary.
