Tribute
On Sunday, July 29, 2018, Mrs. Joanne Yvonne Timmerman of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 96 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Timmerman; daughter Lorraine Elke and son Leo Timmerman.
Joanne will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughters Doreen Hohmann and Nelda Solar; son Frank (Patricia) Timmerman; son-in-law Kenneth Elke as well as extended family and friends.
She spent her working years cooking for Highway crews, a restaurant owner and a home keeper.
Joanne enjoyed camping throughout Canada during the summer months, cooking and preparing meals for weddings, banquets, special occasions, family gatherings and reunions, gardening, pressing flowers, cooking, playing guitar and singing with family and friends.
She won ribbons and awards for the best decorated yard at Christmas time for three years.
A graveside urn interment will be held in St Gregor, SK at a later date.
