Tribute
On Saturday June 18, 2011, Mr. Joaquim Pascoa Marques of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Maria; his daughters Elizabeth and Amelia and his son Danny (Lisa).
Joaquim enjoyed his retirement after a long career as an orchardist. He was actively involved in the Portuguese Club and the Royal Canadian Legion. Joaquim enjoyed fishing and walking.
Prayers will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday June 23, 2011 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Rex Velmonte at 10:30 A.M. Friday June 24, 2011 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow the mass at the Kelowna Memorial Garden Cemetery, Kelowna, BC.
