Tribute
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Joaquim Gil Nunes of Oliver passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Maria Alice; children John, Ricardo, Sergio, and Annabelle; and five grandchildren Crusiano, Liam, Niko, Juliana, and Milo.
Joaquim spent his life as a farmer. He enjoyed soccer and gardening. Enjoyed trips to Mexico and Portugal and was an active volunteer at the Oliver/Osoyoos Portuguese Club.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday March 3, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
