With great sadness we announce the passing of Jodie Louese Jones (Heaven) on July 2, 2024 at the age of 53 after a prolonged illness.
Jodie was born in Vancouver on July 6, 1970, the eldest of two children born to Carol (Bywaters) and Charles “Ed” Jones. She completed her schooling in Delburne, Alberta and went on to achieve a Red Seal in Culinary Arts from SAIT.
Jodie will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her strong spirit and her willingness to help anyone in need.
Jodie is predeceased by her father Ed and will be dearly missed by her mother, Carol and daughter, Dara of Osoyoos, BC, daughter, Cali and granddaughter, Clara of Edmonton, and her sister Ashlee (Andy Hodgkins) and nieces Ava and Alexandra of Perth, Australia.
All are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life at the Delburne Drop-in Centre on July 20 at 2pm.
Donations to the MS Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
