Tribute
On Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, Joeffry Erling Ness of Oliver passed away peacefully at home at the age of 73.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joeffry and Margaret; and by his brother Dwight.
Joeffry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lorraine; his daughters Susanne, Christine, and Joey; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Vernon, Thorbien, Phoenix, Gunnar, Paxton, and Foster; and his siblings Bonnie Jean, Kathleen, James, Dale, Shawn, and Shelly.
Joeffry was an honest and hardworking man, and he is leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion to his family, and an unforgettable sense of humour. He is known for his generous heart, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his love of good conversation. He loved to gather vintage items and oddities and had a big collection of bad dad jokes.
He was someone his family could always count on, no matter what, and we will always cherish the good times we spent together. His memory and legacy will always be remembered.
He was our person, and he will always be in our hearts.

We are remembering Joe today and the many times we shared, always a good friend. Lorraine and Joe spent many a wet and dry camping trips with us at Cultus Lake in our earlier days. Tonight we light a candle as our tribute to him and send love to Lorraine, the girls and their families which we know were important to him.
