Tribute
On Tuesday May 14, 2015, John Douglas Grace of Oliver, passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 90 years.
He was predeceased by his wife and “love of his life” Ethel (Jan. 10, 2014); father Howard; mother Eva; cousin Howard and his little “Muffin”.
John will be lovingly remembered and missed by his son John (Bonnie) of Oliver; daughter Dorothy (Doug) of Oliver, and Bill (Dawn) of Balfour, BC. He will be missed by his grandchildren Doug Jr.(Ana-Maria), Charlene (Jeff), David (Tanya), Michelle (Mike), Justin (Jolene); great-grandchildren Cody, Kylie, Catrina, Conner, Hayden, Madison, Jacob, Sepanta, Keeley and Kenzie as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A private committal service will be held at the Oliver Cemetery Scattering Garden.
The family would like thank their family doctor, Dr. Steve Evans, the SOGH Emergency Department, the nurses in Acute Care at SOGH, special nurse “Nikki” and John and Daryn at Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Service for their kindness and compassion shown towards both our dad and mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the BCSPCA.
