Tribute
On Monday July 28, 2014, Mr. John (Janos) Prezenszki of Oliver passed away peacefully at the McKinney Place Extended Care Unit at the age of 83 years.
He was predeceased by his son John in 1976 and his wife Magdolna in 2011.
John is survived by a sister in Hungary and her family as well as many friends in the Okanagan.
John immigrated to Canada in 1957 to Abbotsford. He also lived in Quesnel and Clinton before settling in Oliver in 1961 to become and orchardist/farmer. In 1999, he moved to town after selling his second orchard. John was a member of the Hungarian Club.
A private committal will be held at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
