Tribute
On Monday, January 3, 2022, Mr. Johannes (John) Carolus Zappey of Osoyoos and formerly of Oliver passed away peacefully at McKinney Place Extended Care at the age of 89 years.
He was predeceased by his son Kelly.
John will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Kay; children Brian (Laura Lee); Jan (Tom) and Mandy (Mark) as well as many extended family and friends, including in Holland.
He immigrated to Canada in 1958 to Oliver and enjoyed living in the South Okanagan.

We remember our Uncle John the last time he and Kay were in Holland at the party in Marina’s garden. The next day we went with Kay and John to Kinderdijk, where he wanted to go. He thoroughly enjoyed it. And that’s how we remember him. We wish Kay and other family strength for the future.
