Jose Bairos

Tribute
On Tuesday October 30, 2012, Mr. Jose Braga Bairos of Osoyoos passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 88 years.
He was predeceased by his father Antonio Bairos; mother Filomena Bairos; her sister Maria Monteira and Maria Jose Loura; brother Angela Bairos; his wife Maria Bairos and grandson Derek Moreira.
Jose will be fondly remembered by his loving family including son Joe (Slavica) Bairos; daughter Lucy (Joe) Moreira; sister Deolinda (Manuel) Moreira; grandchildren Jason, Jackie (Jamie), David (Michelle) and Kevin (Marie) and great-grandchildren Taylor, Gracie, Evan, Brooke, Avery, Tyler and Colton.
Jose was an orchardist for many years. He enjoyed two trips back home to the old country. He was involved with the Holy Spirit parade and loved to go to the dinners.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave De Souza at 10:00 A.M. Saturday November 3, 2012 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception in the church lower hall hosted by the CWL will follow the committal.
Donations are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Cancer Society, PO Box 1872, Oliver, BC V0H 1T0.
