Tribute
On Thursday November 13, 2014, Mr. Jose Narciso of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 90 years.
He was predeceased by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
Jose will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Elizabeth; his son Tony of Merritt; grandchildren Jasmine Narciso and Tyrel Narciso as well as nieces Maria Dammel, Clara Rosa, Sandra Law; nephew Richard Rosa and their families.
Jose came to Canada and settled in Oliver in 1955. He purchased the family orchard in 1958 and worked the land until the end.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Lustado at 10:30 A.M. Saturday November 22, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery followed by a reception at the church lower hall.
