Tribute
On Friday March 25, 2016, Mr. Joseph Michael Duzic of Osoyoos passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home at the age of 80 years.
Joseph will be fondly remembered by his loving family including daughter Josephine Christensen (Curtis); grandsons Aiden and Ethan Christensen; daughter Emily Duzic; ex-wife Uenda Duzic; sisters Nada Krejci, Vera Blazevic and Boza (Terry) Harris as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family overseas.
Joe worked for the BC Ferry Corporation for many years before retiring.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved having family and friends come visit him in Osoyoos. He was famous for his stories which he greatly loved telling.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday April 2, 2016 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Osoyoos, BC. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception hosted by the CWL will follow at the St. Anne’s Catholic Church lower hall.
