Tribute
On Saturday September 24, 2016, Mr. Karl Heinz Artur Pockrandt of Osoyoos passed away at the Sunshine Village Retirement Centre in Osoyoos at the age of 83 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Karin in 2009 and by his parents.
Karl will be fondly remembered by his loving family including sons Kenny Wolfgang Heinz Pockrandt and Peter Karl Pockrandt; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters as well as extended family in Germany.
Karl worked as a Volkswagen mechanic for 20 years in Montreal and then began a career with CN Rail until retirement. He then came to BC and lived in North Vancouver and Squamish before moving to Osoyoos fifteen years ago.
A celebration of life reception will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 16, 2016 at the Sunshine Ridge Retirement Centre Country Kitchen, Osoyoos, BC.
Donations are gratefully accepted for a charity of one’s choice.
