I only knew Kelly through Interior Savings, however she was always so bright and cheerful with a great sunny disposition……we often laughed at how she would start wearing her summer sandals sometimes in early March; as soon as spring was ini the air…..I’d still be in socks/boots! What a sad time for her family – my heartfelt sympathy to all of them — always remember the good times with her and how fortunate you were to have her in your life.

Relation: thru PAC at school

My heart felt sympathies to the entire circle of family and friends that share in the good times with Kelly.
I met Kelly when my son was in Kindergarden, Katrina in Grade 1. I was given KElly’s name as a contact for the PArent Advisory Council..and our friendship began !! I will always remember the sun shine in the room when Kelly was present, her strength and determination to help others will be a constant memory to me.
Gord, Katrina and Hannah may the strength and love shown to you by your wife/mom be the guide to help you thru this hard time. Every time I see bright colors I will remember Kelly with a SMILE 🙂

My thoughts and prayers are with Gord, Katrina and Hannah, and the entire Zelko family. I had the joy of working with Kelly at Interior Savings for the past year and a half. We had so much fun, each and every day, and there was so much laughter, mainly due to Kelly’s amazingly quick wit and tremendous sense of humor. She was truly a one of a kind spirit, full of life, joy, and love, and she came to my rescue countless times throughout our work day, always willing to help. Her love of her family shone through the stories she would tell of their days on the lake, their Glee parties and the many trips they took together. Kelly, you will be missed more than you could know. You are such a bright light, and I am very grateful to have known you.

Years ago I had the great pleasure of working with Kelly at Mustang Survival. Her grace and wit remain with me – and that infectious smile! How many times we laughed until we cried and our bellies ached. It was a special time and she was a special lady. I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear news of her passing. Sincere condolences to Gord and the girls.

I worked with Kelly at Mustang Survival in Richmond BC during the late 90’s. She was cheerful, hilariously witty and definitely a fun person to be around. She always said that black and navy should never be put together – so for her birthday one year we all wore black and navy outfits. She love it! We lost touch after she moved to the interior but I have thought of her often through the years – whenever I hang the pickle ornament she gave me on our tree, and especially whenever I see someone wearing black and navy together. Rest in peace Kelly. My deepest sympathy to Gord, your girls and your family.

May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten. Kelly was always smiling, we shall never forget. I was so sorry not having said good-bye. My heart goes out to Gord and Katrina and Hannah and all who loved Kelly. I know no words can bring real comfort, so sorry is not enough…..We pray.
