Kenneth Bousfield

January 31, 1952 - September 4, 2017

Tribute

Ken Bousfield (Kenny or Bousey) of Oliver B.C. passed away of natural causes on Monday September 4, 2017. He was predeceased by his mother Elsie, father Wilfred, and sister Bev. He will be remembered by his brothers Mel and Donnie, his wife Lois, his children Laura (David) and Kyle, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Ken’s love and pride were his children Laura and Kyle. They were the most important thing to him and he enjoyed taking the family on their trip to Disneyland. He worked at Similkameen Co-op, General Coach, and Kobau Roofing. He was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed a variety of sports including bowling, slow pitch, cross-bow, golf, and pool for which he won awards. He was an animal lover and loved gardening, dancing and music such as Led Zeppelin and Elvis.

The family would like to extend their thanks to his neighbours Rachel Mathews and Rob Ihloff as well as Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Service.

Donations gratefully accepted for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

A scattering gathering will be held Saturday September 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oliver Scattering Garden in the Oliver Cemetery.
