Tribute

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of KEN THIBAULT of Osoyoos, BC on January 14th, 2021 at the age of 62.

He is predeceased by his mother Ann Thibault.

Ken is survived by his wife Mellhina and stepchildren, Ante, Marko, Natasha, Jackie, and their children. HIs father Ken Sr (Heather). His siblings Jim (Pat), Wayne (Tanya), Allen (Stormy) and Lisa (Jeremy), their children and many other extended family members.

For the last 18yrs Ken owned and operated Casa Del Mell Orchards with Mellhina at his side. He was a loving, kind hearted and community minded man who was always grateful for the good friends and good fortunes in his life. Ken was involved with the Elks Local 436 and played an integral role with the Elks Apple Drive, donating to food banks throughout B.C. He was a founding director of the Osoyoos Blues Society, and an active billet family for the Osoyoos Coyotes. Ken received many awards for his community work with the Elks and Kinsmen Clubs. He was also an avid collector, land steward and believed in sustainable farming.

He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elks or local food banks. A Celebration of Life will be held later.

Our deepest sympathy to Mel, the kids and all the Thibault family. We last saw Ken & Mel in 1998 at their home in PG and we were greeted with open arms after not seeing him for many, many years. It was way to soon for Ken to pass and we offer our love and support to Mel in whatever way possible. RIP Dear Cousin.
