On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Mrs. Laura Catherine Steele of Oliver passed away peacefully at McKinney Place Extended Care at the age of 95 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Fredrick Steele on February 18, 2013
Laura will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sister Dorothy Tomlin; brother-in-law Fred Tomlin as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Laura worked at the Box Factory in Oliver until 1953 and from 1953 – 1987 she was employed at a sawmill in Vancouver before retiring.
Laura enjoyed word search puzzles, going to yard sales and she loved country music. She also attended the Catholic Church for many years.
Private cremation arrangements.

Laura was my friend and room mate at McKinney Place. She will be remembered and missed by myself and my husband ( Jim ).
