Tribute
Len served in the Royal Canadian Navy at a young age and pursued a career in heavy duty mechanics. He met and married the love of his life “Ronnie” when he was 19 years old. He ran his own business in Vancouver for several years until semi retiring to the country in 100 Mile House B.C. with his family. He suffered the loss of his wife after 20 years of marriage. Len moved to the Northwest Territories and spent a few years working as a mechanic. Len finally settled in Oliver in 2005 to be close to his children. Len was an avid pool player his whole life, winning several trophies playing at the international level. He also ran his own pool hall in 100 Mile House B.C. After years of battling several illnesses, he was taken home by our Lord.
Len is survived by his 4 brothers and their families Gerald (Lorna), Ronald (Sandra), Gilbert, Guy (Kim), 2 children John (Heidi), Janet (Jay), 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his faithful dog Pepper and his grand-puppy Katy. Len will be dearly missed and loved by all who were a part of his life. May he rest in peace.
