Lila Magnus

Tribute
Lila passed away peacefully early morning, Dec 10th. She is survived by her Mom, Irene Magnus, her sisters, Beth (& Vic) Neufeld, Carol (& Hank) Schurink, niece and nephew, grand-nieces and grandnephew, her son & daughter Tim and Becky Schurman, and many other family members and friends. We will greatly miss her sharp wit, sense of humour and spirited character. We will remember Lila’s infectious laugh, the way she caused us to love her, and for how she loved animals. If she could, she would have taken in hundreds of cats and dogs and cared for them so they would have a good life. Lila was a legendary icon in Oliver’s history; those who knew her will certainly have a colorful story or two to share. Rest well, Lila, you are free to fly!
A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled later spring (possibly May 2014). If you would like to be notified when this service is scheduled, please email schurinks@shaw.ca or contact the Living Way Christian Centre in Oliver at 250-498-4595.

our condolances to Lila’s family . We knew Lila for about 4 years . She loved to laugh and tease and we cared about her. We always called her a women of influence because she cared about people and animals and had many friends . She especially loved her cats . You are safe now Lila and free in Jesus arms. we’ll miss you but we’ll see you again one day.
