Lillian Lil Hupp

Tribute
On Tuesday March 9, 2010, Lillian Ellen Hupp of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 80 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1994 and son Vernon in 2004.
Lillian will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughters Lorna (Dean) Conwright and Maril Hupp; daughter-in-law Shirley Hupp; grandchildren Tyler (Kristine) Hupp; Lindsay (Chris) Anderson; Dallas Hupp, Dena Conwright, Heath Conwright, Bryce Ericson, Kristin (Bryan) Legilloux and Kale (Jenny) Ericson; great-grandchildren Nolan and Annika Hupp and Travis and Landon Legilloux as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lillian moved to Oliver in 1970 from the NWT. She spent forty two years with the Royal Canadian Legion ladies Auxiliary. Lillian also loved playing cards and having people drop by for coffee.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 27, 2010 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 34505 – 89th Street, Oliver, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the SOGH Palliative Care Unit,
R.R.#3, 7139 – 362nd Avenue, Oliver, BC V0H 1T0.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Lill’s passing. It was only a few weeks ago that I seen Lill outside the Penticton hospital with her grandson. I have great memories of all the time spent at the Hupp household, without Lill and Walter I’m sure my wedding would never of gone as well as it did. They did so much work helping with the wedding. There are no words to describe what her kindness to my mother meant to my sister and I during her illness. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I will see you all on the 27th.
