Tribute
On Monday, July 1, 2024, Mr. Freddie Lawrence (Lorne) Cochran of Oliver passed away after a long illness at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 72 years.
Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gayle; sisters; several cousins; nieces; nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Fred; mother, Myra and several uncles and an aunt.
Lorne was born on January 12, 1952 in St. Martin’s Hospital in Oliver. His work career includes working as a trapper, big game guide, mine truck driver and a security guard.
Lorne was a member of the Boundary Historical Society and the Kettle Wildlife Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, writing poetry, drawing and making antler jewelry.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Gayle, I am saddened to hear of his passing. Such a nice guy, always smiling and would chat your ear off if you let him. But I am glad he is at peace.
