Lorraine Rodrigues

Tribute
On Sunday January 12, 2014, Mrs. Lorraine Monique Rodrigues of Osoyoos passed away suddenly at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 57 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Bernadette and Alphonse Knapp and father-in-law Joe Rodrigues.
Lorraine will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband Fernando Rodrigues; son Ricky Rodrigues; daughter Janine Rodrigues; daughter-in-law Claudia Reyes and son-in-law William Isaak.
Over the years Lorraine worked at the Okanagan Similkameen CO-OP and was a stay at home wife and mother. She enjoyed travelling and enjoyed vacations to Florida, Mexico, California, Portugal, Nashville and Hawaii. She was also an animal lover, loved horseback riding, shopping, reading and socializing. Lorraine also donated her time volunteering at the Okanagan Gleaners.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave DeSouza at 10:30 A.M. Saturday January 18, 2014 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception hosted by the CWL will follow in the church lower hall.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, 310 – 1682 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 4S6.

Fernando, Janine, Ricky and family. We are so sorry to learn of Lorraine’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Keep your precious memories close to your heart and they will help you through this most difficult time. We so often talk about our fun camping trips with your family and ours. They were good times for sure.

Fernando, Janine and Ricky…I am so sorry to hear of your wife&mother passing.
I was your neighbour for 5 years and remember fondly the chats I had with her in the early morning hours as we weeded our gardens.
She is with her angels now. AND they surround you with their warm wings to help comfort you in your time of grief.
