Obituary for the late Mr. Lynn Garnett Snider 1942 – 2009

Lynn was born on February 2, 1942 in Nipawin, SK. He came to Osoyoos in 1968 to pursue his truck driving dreams. Lynn always said he would never retire – he got his wish.
Dad drove semi-truck right to the end.
Lynn passed away after a short illness at Penticton Regional Hospital on Wednesday November 4, 2009. He took his last breath in the hands of his children. He leaves to mourn his daughter Brenda (Brian); son Garnett (Sarah-May); his two grandsons Trevor and Allan; one brother Desmond (Deanna) and nephew Link (Kathryn).
Lynn was a kind man to many and enjoyed his numerous friends. Thank you to Dr. DeVries, Dr. Kincaid and nursing staff that cared for dad.
A celebration of life was held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 8, 2009 at the Osoyoos Elks Hall.
