Tribute
On Monday February 10, 2014, Mrs. Mabel Ellen Stephan of Oliver passed away suddenly at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 84 years.
Mabel will be fondly remembered by her loving husband Larry; her daughter Beverley Bloom; step-daughter Wendy Streeter (Russell); stepson Thomas Stephan as well as a large extended family.
Mabel moved to Oliver from Surrey in 1989. She was very generous and would help out anyone in need. Mabel volunteered her time as a member of Crime Watch and as a member of the SO Sportsmen’s Association. Mabel enjoyed collecting antiques and going to yard sales.
Mabel will be sadly missed by all knew her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. We have known Mabel for many years. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by many. Every year she would phone us and tell us the cherries are ready, come and pick. We found this shocking as George had just seen her a few days before. Cherish fond memories and may GOD bless all of you.
