On Sunday, January 13, 2019, Mrs. Maria Da Conceicao Farinha Dias of Osoyoos passed away at the age of 79 years.
She was predeceased by first husband Joao and second husband Manuel.
Maria will be fondly remembered by her loving family including her loving children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, a sister as well as many nieces and nephews.
Maria immigrated to Canada in 1968 and settled in Osoyoos. After working on area orchards they started the family farm in Osoyoos in 1973.
She enjoyed going to the casino, coffee at Tim Hortons, picnics, camping, family gatherings and was a long time St. Anne’s Catholic Church member.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church followed by an interment at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
