Tribute
On Saturday December 19th, Mrs. Marianne Schulz of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 86 years. Funeral Mass for the late Marianne Schulz will be held on Wednesday December 23rd from Christ the King Catholic Church at 1:30 pm.
with Fr. Sebastian Puthenpura the celebrant. Interment followed in the Oliver cemetery with a reception held afterwards in the church welcome area.
Prayers were held on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church
She is survived by Rolf, her loving husband of sixty years. Her daughter Veronica and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter and two siblings in germany. Marianne was born and raised in Germany and was married to Rolf in 1949.
They came to Canada in 1954 and retired to Oliver in 1977 from Vancouver.
She spent a career in Reflexology and was very talented at needlework.

A funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Sebastian Puthenpura at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday December 23, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Marianne was then laid to rest in the Oliver Municipal Cemetery. A reception was hosted by the CWL in the church welcome area following the interment.
