Tribute
We regretfully announce the passing of Marie Wilson of Osoyoos on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 89 years.
Marie was born on September 23, 1923 in Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Bill and her brothers Mike and John.
Leaving to mourn are her sisters Polly, Lucy and Irene as well as brothers Peter, George and families.
Marie and Bill were very hard working and loved the idea of homesteading. With long and laboured hours, they created a beautiful ranch which was their pride and joy. Illness forced them to sell but they enjoyed the freedom of travelling south in winters.
Marie wished to be cremated and hers and Bill’s ashes will be delivered to the beautiful Peace River country which they both loved.

My deepest condolence for the loss of your Sister Marie whom was the most warmest, loveable person I know…She always made me feel wanted….and always full of advice and kind words.
Marie will never be forgotten and I will miss her conversations on phone and visits to Osoyoos..as we now live in Langely BC
