Tribute
On Wednesday February 19, 2014, Marissa Mae Louie of Oliver passed away suddenly and tragically at the age of 19 years.
She was predeceased by her uncle Kevin Wayne Louie.
Marissa will be fondly remembered by her loving family including her Parents Verna Louie and William Baptiste; her Sisters Sammy Jo Louie (Mike Fry) and Jamie Louie; her second family including her Aunt Jody Louie and Cousins Fred & Felicia; her Grandparents Sophie (Mary) Louie and Fred Baptiste and Thomas and Eliza Pierre as well as numerous Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Marissa attended Tuc El Nuit Elementary School and SOSS during her school years and worked at the Inkameep Campsite during the summers and was recently working at the new Inkameep Petro Can in Osoyoos.
A wake was held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday February 23, 2014 at the Inkameep Community Hall. A funeral service was held at 10:00 A.M. Monday February 24, 2014 at the Inkmeep Community Hall. Following the funeral service, Marissa was laid to rest at the Inkameep Cemetery.
