It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark on Monday July 8th in Penticton, BC. after a courageous battle with bone cancer.

Mark is predeceased by his parents Kenneth Lorne Johnson and Marcelle Tessier.

He will be missed by the love of his life, Wendy LePage, his family, Sandra Farrell (Bob), Derek (Cindy), David (Karen), Tara Bell (Bob), Bobby (Lorna), Patti Ewaschuk (Willy) as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Mark led an interesting career, starting as a flight instructor in 1975 to 1980, as a helicopter pilot from 1980 to 2002 working for Okanagan Helicopters and then for Canadian Helicopters, after which Mark switched careers to heading up Human Resources and Safety for Western Rubber.

From: Michael Hartley
Relation: Cousin

Mark came into my life in 1995, after an absence of 30 years, and I was truly blessed in the relationship that developed.
Mark is a man of great character which I came to realize was forged by his resourceful and relentless determination to deal with issues unrelated to his rectitude. I was constantly humbled in his presence. Regarding the latter, because he was a great raconteur, I loved listening to his stories, his sense of humour, and his infectious laugh -or maybe we can call it a giggle.
I realize now that he must have been suffering from the ravages of bone cancer the last we talked and he never let on -particularly when I told him I planned to visit this September on returning from a visit with family in Calgary.
Ah Mark, I wish I could have told youi how much I respected and loved you.
To everyone who loved him, I send my heartfelt wishes.
