Relation: Cousin
Mark came into my life in 1995, after an absence of 30 years, and I was truly blessed in the relationship that developed.
Mark is a man of great character which I came to realize was forged by his resourceful and relentless determination to deal with issues unrelated to his rectitude. I was constantly humbled in his presence. Regarding the latter, because he was a great raconteur, I loved listening to his stories, his sense of humour, and his infectious laugh -or maybe we can call it a giggle.
I realize now that he must have been suffering from the ravages of bone cancer the last we talked and he never let on -particularly when I told him I planned to visit this September on returning from a visit with family in Calgary.
Ah Mark, I wish I could have told youi how much I respected and loved you.
To everyone who loved him, I send my heartfelt wishes.
