Marnie Craft

Tribute
On Thursday, September 13, 2018 Marnie Joyce Craft (nee Clarke) of Osoyoos, BC, peacefully passed away at Mariposa Gardens.
Predeceased in 2014 by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael Craft, Marnie will be fondly remembered by her three children, Heather (Jochem) van Halteren, Lisa (Dennis) Watson, Kevin (Teresa) Craft, and her grandchildren, Brody and Bailey Watson, Noah van Halteren and Sara Craft. She also leaves behind other family and friends to mourn her passing and cherish her memories. Marnie spent her career as an administrator at UBC Alma Mater Society. After decades of family summers at Shady Lagoon, Marnie and Mike retired to Osoyoos in 2006 and moved into their dream home in 2008. Marnie was a member of the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 173. She enjoyed the camaraderie of her many friends and the community at large.
The family wishes to thank Nola Williamson and the staff at Mariposa for being a great comfort to Marnie in her final days and Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Services.
A ceremony will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on October 16, 2018 from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Scandinavian Hall Fireside Lounge, 6540 Thomas Street, Burnaby, BC.
