Marty Murray Learn

On Tuesday 15, 2023, Marty Murray Learn of Oliver passed away at his home at the age of 51 years.

He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.

This is the Marty I remember. I met Marty about 10 years ago. He came to my work place, and was looking for work. But, no job was avaiable. There where many side to Marty, as I got to know him. I got to know, Marty the mechanic best. He was very good with diagnosing something that was wrong with a vehicle. One day he came to my work place, and I was about to drive off with my truck. He said “woah wait” … “Hey it sounds like your truck needs” THIS, THIS and THIS “to the front drivers side wheel assembly”. I was suprised on what he said, as I was just told this by the dodge shop in Penticton two day before. I couldn’t afford the parts and labour at that time. Marty said if I picked up the parts, he would do the work. I tould him I’m low on cash. he said “if you shoot me $50 bucks today, and pay the rest when you get it”. After that Marty work on my truck as issues came up. I always had good visits with Marty. Life for Marty wasn’t easy. But I do Remember his big smile, and trying to be possitive in life.

I was surprise to find out he was now gone. He will be missed.
