Our Family is deeply saddened by the passing of Matt. He was truly a light in this world and the love he gave to family and friends will live on in our hearts. He was 30yrs old, and passed on August 13th, 2020.
Matthew was born February 23rd 1990 in Thunder Bay, ON, to late Jennifer Noy/Illson and Ricky Illson.
He is survived by his siblings Kenny (Nicole) Jamie (nephew Devin & niece Jennifer-Rose) and Charlotte (nieces Jaydence, Taylor, Brooklyn & nephew Carter) and Cameron

His beautiful Girlfriend (Kristin Dawn Mackness) who brought so much joy and happiness to his life.
Matt Believed in family and loved us all, he was the Best Uncle to Jaydence, Carter, Taylor, Brooklyn, Devin and Jennifer-Rose. Words can not express the Loving impact he had on each of them.
As a brother he was always very loyal, understanding, kind and loving. He was a true friend without any judgement and would always make us laugh and be there for us when we cried. He will be missed beyond words and we are so thankful for the time we had with him.
Friends were very important to Matt, he considered them his family. Brad & Laurie Tutkaluk, Johnny Reed, Denise Cook, and the many other friends Matt made throughout his life.
Matt loved so many hobbies, ice fishing
Hunting, fly fishing, Motorcycling, camping, cleaning his truck, movies and just being with family and friends.
Matt was incredibly open to life and loved adventure and new experiences.
Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
You will be forever in our Hearts!♥️

This world is all backwards , no way should a awesome brother, uncle nephew and everything Matthew ment to all the lives he touched during his way to short life. It really makes me question why good people with good hearts and only.want to help others end up passing way to young. Id gladly trade spots with you little brother cause you were always a better man thanks me.
You will be with for ever and il make sure ur part of every thing big or small so people talk about YOUforever.

Relation: Friend (I'm Sarah's mother). He called me GG (Goddess Grandma)...
Matt was such a great guy. Best friend to Adam and my daughter Sarah, he spent most of his free time with them. I saw him at their place on almost every stat holiday for the past few years, for dinner or BBQ parties in their backyard. Matt and Adam were brothers at heart. They seemed happiest when hanging out together. My condolences to Matt’s family.
