On Thursday May 19, 2016, Mr. Mervyn James Steele of Osoyoos, BC passed away at the Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 68 years.
Merv never wore a watch and seldom used a phone but he always knew what time it was and it was time to go.
The work is done and challenges complete. Now its time for a new paradise and much welcomed sleep.
The stars are not wanted now, put out every one, pack up the moon and dismantle the sun, pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood; Merv would have done it if he could.
Beloved husband of Donna (nee Eldridge; loving father of John and his wife Miae of Seoul, South Korea.

We were saddened to hear about Merv. We have many fond memories of Merv and always loved his great sense of humour and zest for life. One of my favourite memories Donna was when you and I spent the night at the hospital with John and Brad after they had their tonsils removed. Merv showed up with a jug of drinks for us!! It was a great night!! We think of you often and wish you the best. Cherish the great memories – they will last forever.
